Today I finished my last ski exam of the year. I took a Children’s Specialist certification for two days and then a certification in teaching adaptive skiing to people with cognitive disabilities. It feels a lot like the end of the semester when the last final exam is over – woooooooooohooooooooooo – liberation! I love that just-finished-the-last-exam-and-I’m-free-as-a-bird feeling.
Catherine wrote a very interesting paper about wood frogs for her biology class. Check it out here. On a different note (no pun intended) her band is currently recording their first CD! She’s already laid down tracks for her first solo piece on the album.

After a fantastic morning at church with a really cool sermon by Doug Kyle, we had a lovely brunch on the patio at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. It was fun to people-watch as families strolled by… women in their Easter dresses, men in their suits, and the little kids all dressed up. The Easter bunny even came by. Andy is so good at the self-portraits.
I like how his sunglasses have a Hollywood sparkle in them. After brunch we spoke to Steve and Debbie in Italy.
Later we had Easter dinner and celebrated Daniel’s upcoming birthday.

The Little Mate is going to be 31.
I’m now on Twitter. It sounded fun. The “What are you doing now” feature of Facebook is my favorite, and Twitter is basically just that… little updates on what people are doing. So I’m going to give it a try. I’m also “following” Andy and Joey’s twitting.
